The Studio

Every garment is thoughtfully designed and produced by us

We combine traditional craftsmanship with carefully selected natural fibers — creating knitwear with the character and warmth of true artisanal work.

Hand-knit alpaca jacket in the Andes

A Family Tradition

Forty years in the making

Harrington Alpaca Studio was born in the quiet heights of the Ecuadorian Andes, in Ibarra, Imbabura Province. Our work reflects a family tradition with more than forty years of experience in hand-knitted garments.

Each piece is created by skilled artisans who preserve Andean knitting traditions — balancing heritage techniques with a modern, restrained design language. We do not follow trends; we create garments designed to remain, in wardrobe and in memory.

Premium baby alpaca yarn

The Process

From fiber to finished piece

We begin with the fiber — premium baby alpaca and merino wool, selected for softness and longevity. Each order is then hand-knit by our artisans, stitch by stitch, over the course of two to three weeks.

Because each garment is made to order, nothing is mass-produced and nothing is wasted. The result is knitwear that is genuinely yours — and made to last.
